Probate / Estate Administration

Planning provides peace of mind. I have helped many clients with basic estate planning documents, such as:

  • Last Will and Testament

  • Durable General Power of Attorney

  • Transfer on Death Designation Affidavit

  • Advanced Directives

I have extensive experience helping family members transfer the assets of a loved one upon their death according to a Last Will and Testament or the law of descent and distribution.  Navigating the Probate process can be overwhelming.  Can you do it yourself?  Yes.  Should you?  Probably not.

Commercial & Consumer Collections

Is your business owed money? I can help. I work diligently to recover delinquent business accounts owed to another business entity or owed by an individual to business entities. Whether commercial or consumer, I conduct collection efforts ethically and swiftly and in the best interests of my clients.

Juvenile Law

When your child is in trouble, it’s hard to know the right thing to do and how to protect their rights and future. A minor child has a right to an attorney, just like an adult. I can answer your questions before your child talks to police or school officials and, if needed, help you through the delinquency process.

Landlord-Tenant Law

Ohio has specific laws that govern the Landlord -Tenant relationship.  Whether your legal matter is related to residential or commercial rental property all parties have both obligations and responsibilities. I can answer your questions or help if you believe you may have a potential legal case regarding Ohio Landlord Tenant Law.

Adoption

Most courts will require an individual that desires to file an adoption to be represented by counsel.  This is a detail oriented area of practice that may involve terminating parental rights and establishing a new parent child relationship.   These are happy days in the Courthouse and you should be confident that your matter is finalized properly. I would be happy to guide you through this process.

Guardianship

On the occasion where an adult is no longer able to make medical and placement decisions for themselves, the Court will appoint a Guardian to make those decisions for them. This legal process involves the next of kin of the alleged incompetent adult incompetent obtaining a medical professional to opine that the proposed ward is no longer able to take care of themselves or their affairs due to a cognitive or physical impairment.
