About Me

I am J. Michael Nicks, and I have been proudly serving individuals in Central Ohio with affordable legal services since 2001. From my office in Delaware, Ohio, I have focused on residents of Delaware, Licking and Franklin Counties and have developed extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and familiarity with local courts and procedural rules. I have wide-ranging experience in estate planning and probate law and my other practice areas include juvenile and workers' compensation law and judgment creditor representation. As a sole practitioner, you can count on my full attention to your case. 

Past Experience

My experience includes serving as a court appointed attorney in Delaware and Licking Counties for Juvenile Law including Guardian ad litem, Collection Law & Post Judgment Remedies: executions, garnishments, foreclosures, perfecting liens, and creditor representation in U.S. Bankruptcy Court., Domestic, Estate Planning, Probate, General Business Matters, Real Estate.

Prior to graduating from Capital University Law School in Bexley, Ohio in 2001, I earned my bachelor’s degree in political science/law and criminal justice from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina.
